We used drywall anchors to secure the superstructure down, as well as epoxy under the whole perimeter of the structure where contacting the hull.

At the end we spent some time to measure the engine mount for the lift engine.

Our thought was to laser cut an aluminum plate with the necessary hole pattern. We'll also try a vinyl cutout to verify our measurements before getting the metal fabricated.
I did verify that we have almost an inch of play horizontally which should give us plenty of tolerance.
